Drama club (Social - Emotional)
Get Digging's social-emotional drama journey focuses on the individuality of each child in the team. We co-create the script based on each child’s perspective and ideas that they bring along with them based on a chosen theme/object or personality.
A short production follows at the end of each term which we like to call it- Kids very own show!
Our programmes also run in and Etonhouse schools too.

Digger’s Space (2-6 yrs old)
Digger's Stage is a stage of finding the operations behind everything. Curiosity, over-turning things, breaking them apart, asking questions are part of the process of this stage. Creative play – using drama, creating stories, grooving to rhythm and being in nature – assisting to develop play in a meaningful manner. Art and craft activities are always included to engage creativity and develop focus.
We provide a space for children where they can engage in a truthful manner and build relations with their peers and teachers in a respectful manner. In an environment that is woven in love, creates a beautiful foundation for the different learning faculty of life.
Every Sunday morning’s (9.30-12.30), together with music and movement, drama, nature play and creativity space.
What Our parents Say...
Durga has created a beautiful space that fosters a sense of freedom and exploration. There are planned activities but they are given the autonomy to choose their own path. It's a place where children are not merely participants but co-creators of their own experiences guided by their curiousity.
A recent incident that truly stood out was during the performance of Alice in Wonderland. My son did not want to perform at the last minute and I was moved by Durga’s compassionate response. Instead of pressuring him, she gently assured my child that he could join the performance whenever he felt ready. This simple act reflects her philosophy – to empower children to decide for themselves, to honour their feelings, and to encourage them to engage on their terms. It's truly heartening to witness a place where children are seen and accepted for who they are and where they are at.
Mother of Sunday Campers
Get Digging gives children the opportunity to explore their ideas without the constraints of everyday life. As a result, it builds their confidence, encourages their curiosity and ultimately creates a sense of achievement. There are no routines, no set tasks, no schedules. Pure freedom!
